What better way to spend a weekend than inhaling gas fumes, getting a nice sunburn, and becoming coated in a mixture of suntan lotion and rubber.

My autocross vehicle is a 2002 Miata LS. Between the leather and the driver, we're at a slight weight disadvantage to the other Miatae, but we're going to kick some butt anyway.

My Miata is stock per SCCA definitions. I'm currently running in the local novice class which requires the use of street tires. Things will change come the end of the year, although I haven't decided whether I want to make changes to the car that will move me into a Street Prepared class.
